[Music] hello everybody and welcome back to another video at revealcannabis.com today i’m going to be updating you on a topic that i did a video on about a year ago and that topic is our vape pens safe so in that video um i came to the conclusion that if you’re buying your vape pen from a regulated source that you can probably rest assured that your disposable vape alibaba (Full Post) pens are safe but over the past year i’ve done quite a bit of reading and research on this and i’ve changed my mind actually so this is what we consider a vape pen and what it is is it is a small battery that has a removable cartridge at the top and the cartridge is filled with concentrated thc or cbd oil and you screw it onto the vape pen battery and heat it up and then it vaporizes the sticky substance in here and you inhale the vapor and exhale the vapor and again if you’re purchasing from a regulated source this should be all safe and regulated however we actually do not have any research on whether inhaling oils that have been vaporized is a good idea for our lungs and because some companies are adding in different additives and flavors um to their vape pens i’m getting more and more and more concerned about it so my opinion is that if you are going to use a vape pen occasionally like if it’s something that you do as a one-off on a weekend or you know once in a while you’re having a hard time falling asleep so you pick up your vape pen and you know puff puff and pass out that’s probably okay but if you are using one of these on the daily i’m going to ask you to consider trying something else so there’s two types of vaporizers vape pen filled with concentrated liquid vape dry herb vaporizer and this one is a little bit different so it’s a small handheld device and this one happens to be a pax but there are so many different kind of vaporizers out there and you put in a little chamber ground up cannabis bud or cannabis flower this thing again heats up it vaporizes the molecules in the cannabis you inhale and exhale the vapor it actually looks almost the same as this but there is a huge difference the difference here is that you are inhaling the cannabis compounds but they are immersed in some sort of liquid here you’re inhaling just the cannabis compounds off the plant so you’re not burning or combusting any plant material like you would be if you were smoking a bong or a joint but you’re still getting all of the benefits um and yeah i know that these are like a little bit more expensive to start out with actually quite a bit more expensive to start out with if you buy a good one and that they’re not quite as convenient as this right you can just pop on new cartridges and have different experience throughout the day and you have to clean one of these i understand all that i still think that if you are vaporizing every day or very often that you need to be moving to a dry herb vaporizer if you have any questions about this or if you want to fight me on it please leave it in the comments down below and uh don’t forget to like and subscribe to this video i don’t know if you know this but cannabis companies can’t advertise so i really depend on you liking and subscribing and sharing with your friends thanks so much for doing that i will see you again soon with another video
