Fans praised and ‘s ‘fabulous transformation’ of a depilated Sicilian flat after the results of the renovation were revealed on Friday.

The  judge, 52, and the comedian, 46, bought two flats for a euro each and spent three months transforming them into one stunning holiday home.

The duo documented the process on BBC show Amanda and Alan: The Italian Job with viewers complimenting their ‘team work’ and ‘eye for design.’

Other’s begged for another series as they ‘laughed and cried with joy’ at the ‘funny and entertaining’ programme.

The flat is now up for sale and the proceeds for the furnishes two-bedroom, two bathroom holiday home will be split between Comic Relief and .

The show has drawn in 4.5million viewers and there are now reports the BBC are planning a second series next year in a different location. 

A source told : ‘BBC bosses have been thrilled.The warmth and humour of their friendship as they’ve got stuck in to DIY, design and the Sicilian lifestyle has proved to be a big hit.’
