Martin did point out in his class that he at all times seems at the highest of people’s heads, in a roundabout way of their eyes, when he’s on stage, just in case he will get a nasty reaction to a joke. Premise: The lives and loves of four African-American lesbian tops (i.e. «Studs») living in Atlanta, GA. It’s one other overzealous effort to signify a facet of queer culture that is sorely missed in mainstream leisure. Nonetheless, some self-consciousness would do that series effectively, as the performances and craft usually fail to meet the bar in telling a story of this magnitude. 20+ minute episodes with questionable lighting and scripts that might use some severe enhancing? That’s ballsy.
