Fly Ashgabat to Mary (Merv). Return flight Mary to Ashgabat

We take a morning flight (this could also be an early begin) to Mary and proceed to Merv (historic Marghiana), considered one of the main cities along the ancient Silk Street and believed at one time to be the largest metropolis on the earth. The whole historical city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its lovely monuments bear witness to glorious days handed. The most famous is the Sultan Sanjar mausoleum, courting to the twelfth century. Other places of curiosity embrace the necessary archaeological site of Kyz Kala. On return to Mary, time-allowing, visit a museum before an evening flight to the Turkmen capital Ashgabat. — Extensive-neck vessels: two fragments with a rim to suit a cowl, a gap alongside the neck and, in one case, a sinuous ornament similar to those in adjacent Room 5 (Fig.6,4,5).
