Strays trailer finds Will Ferrell as a dog seeking revenge

A happy-go-lucky dog realizes his owner is not as great a (who will be ), Jamie Foxx, Isla Fisher and Randall Park as the four main dogs, with Will Forte playing the owner Doug.

The trailer begins with a super-happy Reggie (voiced by Ferrell), gleefully prancing through a field, stating, ‘Today is going to be the best day ever.’

‘I love sunshine, I love butterflies, but more than anything, I love Doug,’ Reggie says, barking in front of a run-down home when Doug comes out screaming, ‘Hey!Shut the f**k up! F***ing piece of s**t,’ before taking a drink from his beer.

Reggie continues, ‘That’s Doug! The best owner in the world,’ as Doug chucks his empty beer can into the yard before making a face at Reggie and slamming the door.

Reggie goes on to explain, ‘We’re playing this game called Fetch ‘N F**k.He drops me off really far away and then drives home without me, and when I bring the ball back he says, ‘F**k,’ adding, ‘Haha that’s how I know I’ve won the game!’

Seemingly fed up with Reggie continually returning to him, Doug decides to drop Reggie off in the city, where he finds a pair of Afghan dog prostitutes.

‘Hey honey.Ever been with an Afghan before?’ one of them asks, as Reggie, with the ball still in his mouth, asks, ‘I don’t think so, but thank you.’

He runs into another dog named Bug (voiced by Jamie Foxx), who says, ‘Take it from me, kid, he left your a**,’ though Reggie doesn’t want to believe it.

‘No, that can’t be right,’ Reggie says, as Bug adds, ‘You are officially a Stray,’ as Reggie finally realizes, ‘That would mean…Doug doesn’t love me.’ 

Reggie starts walking away from Bug and his friends (voiced by Isla Fisher and Randall Park), as Park’s dog says, ‘I should probably talk to him, I am a therapy dog.’

Bug tries to explain to Reggie that it’s, ‘beautiful’ living ‘off the leash’ as they start licking trash bags with beer in them, as Reggie says, ‘This beer is making me dizzy.’

‘It’s about to get real dizzy up in this b***h,’ Bug says, as him and Reggie are seen walking past a mirror in an alley, as a buzzed Bug starts taunting his own reflection.

‘Look at this motherf***er right here.What you want homie? And your lil b***h a** friend with the motherf***ing home perm and s**t,’ as Reggie adds, ‘I’d hate for this to get violent.’

All four of the dogs are seen jumping through some lawn sprinklers as Bug says, ‘You’re a stray.You can do anything you want,’ before Reggie drops a bombshell.

‘I’m going back to Doug’s. I’m going to bite his d**k off,’ a stern Reggie says, as the others can’t believe what they’re hearing.

‘I’m still a little drunk, but…’ as Reggie repeats with fervor, ‘I said I’m gonna bite his d**k off,’ as Reggie adds, ‘Oh we’re gonna f**k s**t up.’

Bug asks Reggie if he’s ever humped anything before, and Reggie hasn’t so they all teach him how to hump a garden gnome, as Bug tells Reggie to tell the gnome he’s his daddy.

‘Hello gnome.I’m your father. It’s good to finally meet you, even under these strange circumstances,’ Reggie says.

Another scene shows all four dogs in a clearing in the woods, as Bug complains his, ‘little puppy paw pads are really hurting right now, so how exactly could this get worse?’

Moments after he says that, a huge bird swoops down and snatches Bug, as we see a variety of shots including all four dogs being locked up in jail of some kind.

The final shot shows Randall Park’s dog busting down Doug’s door as Fisher’s dog says, ‘Guys, we’ve got a d**k to rip off.’

The final shot shows all four dogs finding a field of mushrooms as they start to eat them and feel…quite different… as the trailer comes to an end.

Strays will hit theaters from Universal Pictures on June 9.
